Block work mesh, also known as masonry or reinforcement mesh, it forms a continuous reinforcement layer by embedding into the mortar joints between blocks or bricks. This mesh increases the tensile capacity of the masonry, protects walls from stress concentration, reduces cracking from thermal expansion/contraction, and resists vibrations common in construction environments. The mesh is usually installed at every other course in the wall and positioned close to the surface to maximize effectiveness.
