Frame cramps with a single hole or a vertical slot can be fixed to concrete, steelwork or masonry. Expansion bolts are
recommended for fixing to concrete, setscrews or self-drilling screws for steelwork, and suitable plugs and screws for fixing to masonry. Poor substrates will limit the capacity of frame crams and site treating is advisable in some cases.
